Following the Aaron Hernandez Case, today he was found guilty of 1st degree murder for killing Odin Lloyd.

With the conviction, Hernandez was automatically given a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

It's very saddening to see a player with such great talent and potential to throw it all away over something that was probably so minute it could have been avoided.

The jurors looked into the case for 6 days and had multiple breaks asked for due to the complexity of the case but ultimately came to a conclusion for the former New Patriots TE.

Over the years with the New England Patriots, Aaron Hernandez was one of Tom Brady's favorite targets, lining him up at a bunch of different spots to give him the ball and let him work his magic downfield.

The media attention around the case is very similar to those of the Ray Lewis and infamous OJ Simpson, but their cases were on the other side of the fence.

For Hernandez's fiancé,  Shayanna Jenkins, she was granted immunity for her testimony in court after initially pleading the fifth, she was given the choice to either testify or face jail time for contempt.

Aaron Hernandez's friends that were also with him at the time of the murder, Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace were also convicted of murder charges.

More details about the case are to be expected. Condolences go out to the Lloyd family and may his soul rest in peace.
